Hopewell Township Police Respond to Break-Ins and Illegal Dumping

Mattress Dumped on the Side of the Road

Officer Arthur Juba responded to Cleveland Road on March 7 for a reported illegal dumping incident. Upon arrival, he observed a large mattress and box spring on the eastbound shoulder of the roadway. No identifiable marks or evidence were found at the scene. The Hopewell Township Department of Public Works was contacted for removal. The investigation is ongoing.

Burglar Alarm Triggered at Golf Center

Officer Colin Brigham responded to an active alarm on March 7 at the Pennington Golf Center. Upon investigation, officers found signs of forced entry, but no items appeared to have been stolen. Officers photographed the scene and cleared the area. The incident remains under investigation.

Items Dumped into Farm Field

On March 8, officer Ryan Finnegan responded to a report of illegal dumping at a farm field on Bayberry Road. The victim reported that a neighbor informed them of dumped items, including a couch, television, stroller, wood, bicycle, mops, children’s toys, and political signs. The investigation is ongoing.
