The Hopewell Valley Veterans Association has postponed its “An Evening Under the Stars” celebration from Saturday to Sunday, June 28, due to the forecast for inclement weather.
The free community event will take place at Woolsey Park, 203 Washington Crossing-Pennington Road, and will feature a classic and custom car show, live music by Castle Lane, food vendors and a fireworks display.
The updated schedule includes:
- 4 p.m. – Classic and custom car exhibit
- 6 p.m. – Live music by Castle Lane
- 9:30 p.m. – Fireworks display
Organizers encourage attendees to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the evening. Food will be available for purchase.
Admission is free, although donations are appreciated to help fund the fireworks display. Organizers note that no tax dollars are used to support the event.
Car exhibitors should arrive by 3 p.m. for setup. Commercial vehicles are not permitted in the show.
