Kindergarten registration for the 2019-20 school year will begin on Monday, January 7, 2019 for parents of children anticipating entering kindergarten in the Hopewell Valley Regional School district next fall. Please note, children must be five years old on or before October 1, 2019, per Board policy #5112.
Hopewell Valley Regional School District provided the following information regarding registration procedures:
Registration forms are available online through the district website. Go to www.hvrsd.org and click on the “Registrar” link located under Offices. The “Kindergarten Registration” page provides an overview and link to required forms. If you do not have Internet/printer access, the Registrar or Office of Curriculum & Instruction Office can supply you with the appropriate forms.
After completing the forms, please contact the Registrar at [email protected] or by phone at 609.737.4002 ext. 2306 to set up an appointment. In addition to your completed forms, please bring an original birth certificate with a raised seal (or a copy with a raised seal) and proof of residency to your appointment. Acceptable proof of residency includes a deed/lease showing signatures of both parties (dated for current school year) or signed sales contract with street address, or settlement statement. We will also accept a current tax bill with a valid NJ driver’s license. Both the tax bill and license must have matching addresses. Upon completion of registration, you will receive a packet of information regarding the school district. Offices are located in the Hopewell Valley Regional School District Building at 425 S. Main Street, Pennington.
School visits will be held at the four elementary schools in the spring. Appointments must be made for the school visits when registering.
