The week of October 10 is Zone 2 for yard waste pickup.  If you are unsure of your designated zone week for your property, you may check the On-Line Property search on the homepage of the Township website, www.lawrencetwp.com.

Material shall be placed in an area on the street not greater than four feet (4′) from the edge of the pavement.  Trees greater than 8-inches caliper may not be disposed of through curbside collection.  Materials shall not be piled greater than three feet (3′) in height.  Once the collection truck has collected your street, they will not return until next month’s collection.

If you have questions or need additional information, please call the Department of Public Works at 609-587-1894.

Lawrence Township Eco-Waste Collection Program: Lawrence Township continues to offer an optional recycling program that allows residents the opportunity to compost their organic waste.  Removing organic materials from the waste stream will reduce the amount of trash that is taken to the landfill.  According to the EPA, food scraps and yard waste make up 20 to 30 percent of the waste stream.
