To the Editor,
I am running for Hopewell Borough Council because I believe our town can come together to achieve safer, calmer streets, more accessible government and solve the challenges we face as a community.
We are already making progress on my top priority, traffic safety. The Hopewell Borough Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Advisory Committee that I chair submitted a series of recommendations to improve safety on Broad St. to council in July. Last month, council adopted a Vision Zero resolution I drafted, commiting the town to a goal of zero traffic fatalities and paving the way to implement some of our recommendations.
Now is the time to rally behind our shared commitment to make our town safer, more walkable, and more business-friendly.
If Hopewell Borough residents agree that Borough Council needs a fresh voice and share my vision, I ask that they cast a vote for me in our general election on Tuesday, November 8th. To learn more or to get in touch with me, please visit my website at www.weaverforhbcouncil.com.
