MCLS libraries move to curbside December 28 -January 9

by Community Contributor

Due to the increase in COVID cases, all branches of the Mercer County Library System will transition to a curbside service model starting Tuesday, December 28 through January 9, 2022. Patrons of the library system may go online (www.mcl.org) or call their local branch to reserve materials and schedule a pick-up time. Pick-up times will be available from Monday to Thursday from 10am to 8pm and Friday and Saturday from 1am to 4:30pm.

The Hollowbrook Branch will be available for pick-ups Monday to Friday from 10am to 4:30pm. The Ewing, Hickory Corner, Lawrence, and West Windsor Branches will also have Sunday pick-up hours on January 2 from 1pm to 4:30pm. All branches will be closed December 31 and January 1 for the holiday, with pick-up times ending at 2:30pm on December 30.

All live events are canceled, but virtual events will take place as scheduled. Book and AV drops will be open 24/7 for the convenience of our patrons who wish to return materials. The remote print service will also be available, patrons may email documents or questions to [email protected] – use a subject line the includes your name and pick-up branch and we will contact you regarding pick-up. Reference staff are available via phone and chat to answer questions during curbside hours. WiFi in the parking lot will be available during this time. Patrons may also access our 24/7 online collection of books, music, magazines and more by visiting our Virtual Branch on our website. Visit www.mcl.org for more information about our services.
