MercerMe Moves to Community Supported Funding Model

by Mary Galioto

For the past five years, MercerMe’s news coverage has been timely, impartial, and free to read. This week, MercerMe began asking for its community’s support through subscriptions. We’d love to keep our content free but budgetary constraints make that impossible.

A subscription to MercerMe costs $5 per month, or $50 for a year. Senior citizens (age 65+) receive a 10% discount by emailing us at [email protected].

Your subscription entitles you to:

  • unlimited MercerMe articles,
  • our community calendar,
  • features about local businesses and restaurants, and
  • a weekly e-mail newsletter delivered right to your inbox.

Articles related to timely public safety information will always be free.

“I’m really proud of the roll we play in this community — providing news not available anywhere else,” said MercerMe Founder, Publisher, and Editor Mary Galioto. “And we’re looking forward to the opportunity — through community support — to continue to provide high-quality, hyper-local news to great Hopewell Valley for years to come.”
