From the Hopewell Fire Department:
“It is with a heavy heart that the Hopewell Fire Department announces the passing of past Chief Joseph “Napa Joe” Toth, Sr. Chief Toth joined the department around 1963. He served as Chief from 1983-1985. He was a pillar of the community and the department alike. Don’t curse, because you were sure to catch a crooked finger to the side of your head. He will be sorely missed by all. Arrangements are being made and the details will follow. Rest easy chief, we have it from here.”
