Princeton Day School Theater Production Receives 10 NJ Theater Award Nominations

Princeton Day School announced this week that their Upper School fall production of “Girls Like That” by Evan Placey received 10 nominations from the New Jersey Theater Awards at Montclair State University.

Director Stan Cahill noted that this is more nominations received than for any previous show at Princeton Day School. The full list of nominations is below. The award ceremony will take place on May 17 at the University.

The nominations are:

  • Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama: Ella Baseman
  • Outstanding Lighting Design
  • Outstanding Achievement in New Media/Special Effects
  • Outstanding Sound Design
  • Outstanding Choreography or Movement
  • Outstanding Live or Original Music
  • Excellence in Educational Impact and Community Outreach
  • Peter Filichia Award (Pushing the Envelope in Academic Theatre)
  • Outstanding Production of a Drama
  • Outstanding Overall Production of a High School Play
