The Mercer County Department of Transportation has announced a resurfacing project for the eastbound lane of Route 654 (Pennington-Hopewell Road) between Moore’s Mill-Mount Rose Road to Marshall’s Corner Road.

The detour will reroute traffic further north on Route 31 and then onto Route 518 heading east toward Hopewell Borough.

The project was scheduled to begin April 13th but it appears the project has been delayed between 1-1.5 weeks (road signs say April 20th). The resurfacing will take approximately 14 working days.
