St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Pennington, NJ donated 100 pumpkin pies to the Hopewell Valley Mobile Food Pantry. The Food Pantry will distribute the Giving Pies along with Thanksgiving Meals to families in need throughout Hopewell Valley this week.
The Giving Pies are an outreach effort by St. Matthew’s in partnership with the students at Timberlane Middle School, the Hopewell Valley Mobile Food Pantry and the Pennington Quality Market.
St. Matthew’s donated the Giving Pies to the Food Pantry instead of holding a celebration brunch as part of its annual Hope Grows Here Stewardship Campaign.
