The Princeton Police Department reported this morning that the investigation by the Detective Bureau revealed that the individual pictured in yesterday’s alert was a New Jersey American Water (NJAW) employee who was conducting legitimate business at the house on Stuart Road East.

Please be advised, NJAW will be in Princeton running sample tests for copper and lead in various locations until 5/31/2016. Each employee will be in full uniform with identification. In addition, each employee will present a letter written from NJAW explaining the nature of their business.

NJAW will also be contacting the Police Department prior to conducting any work to avoid any confusion.
