To the Editor,
The 2019 Hopewell Valley Central High School (HVCHS) PTO Post Prom committee would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all the volunteers, contributors and businesses that helped make this year’s 2019 Post Prom a huge success.
On Friday June 7, 2019, the HVCHS senior class attended their senior prom and Post Prom was held after from midnight to 4 am and open to all seniors whether or not they attended the prom. The community came together to offer our HVCHS seniors a safe, substance-free, no–cost after-event. Parents made donations, supported fundraisers, set-up, chaperoned, organized the activities, entertainment and food, and cleaned up until well after the sun was up. Our students were polite, respectful and appreciative for all the community’s efforts.
We have succeeded in our goal to keep our teen drivers off the roads during the early morning hours and safe at a chaperoned, drug and alcohol free event. Thank you to all the parents who volunteered and especially to Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance, Capital Health and Princeton Tuxedo and all other sponsoring businesses who contributed both financial support and in-kind goods and services.
Make no mistake, we could not do this without the support of our community partners and businesses. Please join us in supporting them like they have supported our children:
