An art gallery exhibit featuring members of the Creative Collective and showcasing the artists of HomeFronts’ ArtSpace will be held at the Gourgaud Gallery in Cranbury, New Jersey. The exhibit celebrates the work of local artists and highlights the artists of ArtSpace, which aims to build self-confidence through therapeutic art. ArtSpace is a HomeFront program housed in HomeFront’s Family Campus, a center in Ewing for homeless families. Home Front provides a holistic array of services for families who are homeless or at high risk of becoming so. The exhibition creates awareness for this amazing organization and the transformation power of art.
A variety of mediums will be on display including oil painting, acrylic painting, photography, watercolor, stone carving, ditigial art, and mixed media. The exhibit will run from August 1st to August 31st, 2016. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday 9AM-4PM, and Sundays 1-4PM. All work is for sale and selected artists will be on hand in the gallery selling work on Sundays. The opening reception will be on Sunday August 7 from 1PM-3PM.
