The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Hamilton Police Division are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found Tuesday morning in Hamilton Township.
At approximately 9:10 a.m., Hamilton police received a call regarding a body in a weeded area in Roebling Park off of Sewell Street*. Police responded to the location and found the body of an unidentified white female approximately 40 years of age.
An autopsy is scheduled for this afternoon and police are working to identify the victim. The cause and manner of death are pending autopsy, however, the death appears to be a homicide.
