Yart Sale: An Opportunity For Local Artists

by Mary Galioto

The Hopewell “Yart Sale” is a community event for artists to sell their good quality “seconds” or back catalog artwork, in keeping with the mood (and coinciding on the same day) as the Hopewell town-wide yard sale. Hosted by local artist, Debbie Reichard, the Yart Sale will be held in the Historic Hopewell Train Station on June 13 from 8 am-2pm.

“We all have that pile of stuff in the basement that is too good to throw away, but not current enough to show in a gallery,” said Reichard.

Artists can also sell art tools and materials including canvas, sewing supplies, fabric, photo equipment, musical instruments, recording equipment etc. All art or craft products or materials from any genre are welcome. Artists will receive a large table, indoors. Restrooms will be available, and the event is rain or shine.

Call Debbie Reichard ay 206-579-7492 or email [email protected] for more information and to register.
