On behalf of the Sourland Conservancy, I want to thank everyone who helped make this year’s Sourland Mountain Festival such a success.
Our deepest gratitude goes to Tiffany Bai, Alison Kavchok, Suzanne Parsons, Tim Johnson, and the entire Mountain Fest committee, who work tirelessly all year to bring this event to life, and to our 70 event-day volunteers, whose energy and dedication kept everything running smoothly from setup through breakdown.
We were honored to open the festival with a blessing from Chief Gentle Moon of the Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania and a powerful drum circle from the Itchy Dog Singers — a meaningful reminder of the land’s history and the community that continues to gather on it.
Thank you to the talented bands who filled the afternoon with music, the vendors who shared their food and craft, and the community partners who joined us in celebrating the Sourland Region. And of course, thank you to the hundreds of guests who came out to enjoy the day — your support means the world to us.
We’re also deeply grateful to the many local businesses and organizations who generously promoted our event, fed our volunteers, stocked our scavenger hunt, and supported the day in countless other ways: NJ Parenting; Town Topics; MercerMe; Arctic Glacier; Bagel Bistro; BJ’s; Costco; East Amwell, Hillsborough, Hopewell, and Montgomery Township DPWs; HealthQuest; Home Depot; Lowe’s; Tractor Supply; Rutgers Landscape; Starbucks; and Stop & Shop, Trader Joe’s, Wegmans, and Weis Markets.
Special thanks to Unionville Vineyards for once again hosting the festival at their gorgeous venue and pouring their wonderful wines throughout the afternoon.
Proceeds from the festival directly support our forest restoration work across the Sourland Region, helping us protect the forests, streams, and wildlife that make this place so special.
