April fun at Hopewell Public Library

The Hopewell Public Library has several events planned for April. Take a look to see what they’re offer!

Seed Exchange and Flowerpot Decorating on Saturday, April 9th from 10am to 2pm

Calling all gardeners! HPL is hosting a seed giveaway and a flowerpot decorating craft in front of the Library on Saturday, April 9th. Gardeners are welcome to bring their own seeds to exchange or to select the seeds they would like from our seed exchange table. The flowerpot craft is free. Registration for the craft is required. Please indicate how many children you are registering and your preferred time slot. Discussing Film Program on Tuesday, April 12th from 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Join Staff Librarian Jamie Anderson with the Hopewell Public Library to discuss your favorite films and what they mean to you. Participants are not required to watch a particular movie or TV show to attend; simply come and discuss what you’ve seen! What have you enjoyed? What have you hated? What made you think? Children’s Story Time every Monday from 10:30am to 11am

Children’s Story Time traditionally takes place each Monday beginning at 10:30am and is designed for children ages five and under and their companions. It includes several read-aloud stories, finger plays and often a book-related activity. The group gather Mondays at 10:30am in the Hopewell Train Station at 2 Railroad Place Hopewell, NJ 08525. HPL Book Club (Zoom) on Monday, April 4th from 7pm to 8pm

This group chooses one book a month from both contemporary and classic fiction and nonfiction of all types. Led by volunteers, the group suggests, discusses, and votes to decide on the books for the upcoming year. This monthly program is currently held over Zoom.
