A Memorial Tree Dedication Ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Hopewell Township’s Woolsey Park, 203 Washington Crossing Pennington Road.
The dedication is in memory of local historian David Blackwell who died last year. Blackwell was a founding member of the Hopewell Township Historic Preservation Commission and a longtime trustee of the Hopewell Valley Historical Society. He was critical to the research and nomination process for historically significant sites to be designated Historic Landmarks.
The Hopewell Township Environmental Commission and Historic Preservation Commission invite the public to join them in their remembrance.
