by Community Contributor

The Hopewell Valley Senior Services offers events, programs, educational classes, and lectures throughout the year. This month, they are offering the following:

Senior Luncheon & Timberlane Middle School Spring Musical, “Freaky Friday”
Wednesday, May 1 at 12:15pm, HVCHS Performing Arts Center, 259 Pennington Titusville Road, Pennington. Registration for this event was in April and the luncheon is full. If you would like to come to the SHOW ONLY, please arrive at 1:45pm. When an overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swap bodies, they have just one day to put things right again. Freaky Friday, a new musical based on the celebrated novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films, is a heartfelt, comedic, and unexpectedly emotional update on an American classic. By spending a day in each other’s shoes, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate one another’s struggles, learn self-acceptance, and realize the immeasurable love and mutual respect that bond a mother and daughter.
