Mercer County Homicide Task Force and Trenton Police Seek Public’s Assistance

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are attempting to locate two men in connection with the homicide of 27-year-old Carlos Leiva-Oviedo.

On June 14, 2016, at approximately 3 a.m., Trenton police officers responded to the intersection of Hudson and Genesee streets on a report of a male bleeding. They located Leiva-Ovieda collapsed near his car on Hudson Street suffering from multiple stab wounds. Leiva-Oviedo was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
