Everyone at MercerMe is proud of our recent coverage of news stories that have helped our readers better connect with the Mercer County community. From the PennEast gas pipeline, to Hopewell Valley’s full-day kindergarten discussion, to our regular “Mommy Mayor” column from Mayor Cathleen Lewis in Lawrence – we want to hear what’s important to the community and deliver the most valuable information, as quickly as we can.
When it comes to “delivery” – we are always working on more and better ways to get news to our readers. From Facebook, to Twitter, to our weekly “What’s Happening in Mercer” email newsletter – we understand that information needs to be easy to access, just as it needs to be thorough, accurate and timely. Over the past few weeks we have been working behind the scenes to provide an updated, cleaner and more modern platform for our site. You may have noticed the new streamlined look – and hope you love it as much as we do. From a better “sticky” site menu (try scrolling up and down to see it “snap back”), to improved display of our community advertisers’ messages, to faster rendering and loading – many of the initial changes are meant to make interacting with MercerMe easier, faster and simpler.
With the platform updates complete, we’ll be excited to introduce new features soon, including upgrades to our community calendar. As always, if anything doesn’t look right, work right, or you have ideas for making this better – let us all know! We want to hear from you.
