Pennington Library hosts screening of A Fine Line: A Woman’s Place is in the Kitchen

by Community Contributor

The Pennington Library and YWCA Princeton are cohosting a free screening and panel discussion of the film, A Fine Line: A Woman’s Place is in the Kitchen on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 7pm at The Hopewell Theater.

A Fine Line explores why less than 7% of head chefs and restaurant owners are women, when traditionally, women have always held the central role in the kitchen. Follow the personal story of a small-town restaurateur, Valerie James. Hear perspectives and experiences from world-renowned chefs and get to the heart of what is needed to empower women across all industries.

Film Run Time: 56 min. Stay for complimentary dessert from local female chefs and join a panel discussion featuring local female chefs.
