RiverFest, a daylong celebration of the Delaware River featuring boating, live entertainment, educational activities and food, will return to Trenton Thunder Ballpark on Saturday, Sept. 12.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and include canoe and boat rides, educational games and exhibits, live music and entertainment, hayrides and a fly-fishing demonstration.
Food and craft beer will also be available, and the day’s activities will include a Pork Roll Eating Championship.
RiverFest brings together recreation and environmental education for a community celebration centered on the Delaware River. Participating organizations include Mercer County, the City of Trenton, Trenton Thunder, The Watershed Institute and the Miracle League of Mercer County.
The event is also supported by Bristol Myers Squibb, PSE&G, Horizon Disposal Services and Capital Health.
