Newsweek announced America’s Top High Schools for 2015 and Hopewell Valley Central High School is proud to be acknowledged. As the only high school in Mercer County to make the list, HVCHS came in #107 based on a range of factors to assess which educational institutions are most successful in preparing students for college. HVCHS has been moving steadily up the ranks being rated #240 in 2014 and #638 in 2013.
“It’s fun to receive outside recognition and we concur that we are continually improving as a district,” said Hopewell Valley School District board president, Lisa Wolff. “That said, we probably measure success differently than the magazines do. For example, our level of student engagement is at an all time high.”
The State of New Jersey did very well overall with 6 New Jersey high schools capturing slots in the top 10.
As a proud graduate of Hopewell Valley Central High School in 1979, I couldn’t be any happier for Ho-Val Central High School!!! Congratulations one and all!!!!
Best school ever, said anyone who ever attended.
