Anne Marie Chipowski, MSPT, Director of the Greenwood House r3 Rehab Program and licensed physical therapist, will review how you can become more active if you just implement proper & easier ways to maneuver your body while doing the normal activities of daily living.   You will learn that from getting dressed, lifting things, hiking, shopping, reaching, bending, getting in and out of a car… you may have been unnecessarily doing it “the hard way”.  By doing things “the hard way” you may be limiting your independence, or even worse – placing yourself at high risk for injury or an accident.  ‘Take it Easy’ will teach you that by doing things the proper way, you will be able to do MORE for years to come – with less energy and strain on your body. If you are trying to lead a healthy and active lifestyle for years to come, this program is a must for everyone regardless of your age!
